ORW’s innovative expansion of Crater High School upgraded the learning and teaching environment with a fresh look and enhanced functionality. The project included a new 10,300 sf Science Building featuring six science classrooms, two general classrooms with adjoining teacher workrooms, and equipment storage rooms. The 13,300 sf multi-purpose Student Union was also renovated, incorporating an ala carte kitchen, dry storage area, scullery, manager’s office, restrooms, and teacher’s conference area. The final component was a 17,450 sf auditorium with seating for 500 featuring a fly loft, green room, dressing rooms, extensive cat walk systems, and a spacious control room. The generous lobby features a concession area and serves as both art gallery and reception space.
