People’s Bank had three requests: the building should have ties to the past, lead into the future, and include a round corner (they got four).  The brick and metal façade pay tribute to the strength desired of a financial institution while projecting the possibilities to come.  The open floor plan is indicative of the transparency the bank wishes to convey.
